Asurans made the Iron Forgeman!
The Iron Forgeman from Sorrow's Furnace [the guy who spawns three djinn after killling him] can be found with several half-built copies in the Oola's Lab dungeon. Do the Asurans have some pact with the Summit or what?

Well, perhaps that section of SF was Oola's original lab before the destroyers came. Then, when the Asura bugged out to the southern Magumma, she moved with them and is currently in the process of making another ironforgeman so she can forge Golems with greater ease.
Either that, or considering that in GW2 the Asura are supposed to be neutral trade partners with everyone, the stone summit were the highest bidders.

Or maybe the Stone Summit were her original assistants, which she fired because she found them to be ugly and stupid, when she herself is just a bitter old crone.
With nothing else to do, they decided to seek vengeance on the Deldrimor, because their ale gets everyone drunk faster, for longer.

I still see no hard evidence, claiming she actually made them.
The only thing there is, is that in her lab there are several replica's of the Iron Forgeman. Other theories could be:
-After they were forced to the higher levels by the Destroyers, Oola stumbled upon the remains of the Iron Forgeman in SF. She decides to duplicate and perfect this creation in her own manner. This could be acceptable, since if the Asurans made the Iron Forgeman, why did they get defeated by the Destroyers? Oola could have made an army a long time ago. So maybe she only recently discovered Golemancy.
-The dwarves build several prototypes of the Iron Forgeman in the secret lab in the Maguuma Jungle (later Oola's Lab). When they completed it, they abandoned the lab. Oola found it and began her research. This is why the later Golems are not that similar to the Iron Forgeman.
Until I see a screenshot of Oola saying she created the Iron Forgeman, there is no direct evidence stating that she did. And someone putting it on wiki doesnt prove much.

Yep theres no proof Oola actually created the original Iron Forgeman. Its possible that the Dwarves simply took the one from Sorrows Furnace and somewere along the line Oola got it and started replicating it. Since theres only one Forgeman in her lab that is actually active i can see Oola rebuilding it and giving it another energy source (Something other than the Djinn)
However i like the fact the Forgeman has 2 things on the side of its head to resemble Asuran ears.

I always thought the Iron Forgeman was a Dwarven mining aid, but was stolen during the Civil War by stone summit. And according to Anets lore, the Asura have been trading with Dwarves for a long time, underground race to underground race.
While this next bit is wild speculation, it may explain Oola's reluctance to be near to others. I mean, one of her greatest creations, making mining safer and preventing many Dwarf deaths was corrupted into a killing machine. Perhaps decided that other people could not use Golems are they were not responsible enough. (Until she met us. You know, because we kicked destroyer backside for her).

Was the Iron Forgeman a weapon of the Stone Summit at all?
It looked more like an important drilling or smithing device.
Without it, the Stone Summit were severely slowed down or their progress stopped dead.
The advantage of the Golems is that they are mobile. The Forgeman also does not seem to be built for war, as stated above. The Summit might have stolen this Forgeman, as they needed "Rage Binders" to contain it's wrath, which seems to be pretty unnecessary for your own robot.

The Iron Forgeman was keeping the furnace going. So it was not really a weapon however it could use the things it had as weapon (eg containers of lava). In the hands of the Asura i guess it could be more of a weapon due to different energy sources. The Summit had to keep it binded all the time and had incidents where Djinn had escaped from it.

Because about the only thing the Forgeman could do was pour fire on you, and you know how well THAT works on Destroyers...
